Isn't democracy a clown mask to allow some people (currupt) to have everything while others have nothing?Isn't democracy a clown mask?
It actually allows everyone to have everything. If one is not willing to work hard or take chance they will get less.Isn't democracy a clown mask?

It sometimes works like that. But people can change things. America is a country where the poorest person can become the richest man in the world. Of course, there are some who rob others of things, but generally, this does not happen.
No I wouldn't agree, democracy isn't a ';clown mask.'; The idea of democracy is probably just better in SMALL doses. Like any form of government if you ask me. but hey I'll take a slightly corrupt govt and live w/o fear over a dictatorship in some crappy country where you could get blown up at any moment.

Most people raised in the western tradition accept democracy as the best form of government available. I would agree with you that democracies are corrupt. The question is however, are they corrupt because they are democracies? There is not a generally well respected institution (i.e. higher education, the church, law enforcement, etc.) in this country that has not had some form of known corruption. All of these institutions are able to maintain respect and authority because corruption is not believed to be a necessary component of their existence. Democracy in America and other countries throughout the world are corrupt, but they are not corrupt because they are democracies. Rather they are corrupt because they are governments. Democracy is not a good form of government, it is just much better than anything else we have yet to try. All other forms of government which espouse a philosophy of equality are often much more inequitable in their distribution of goods. Furthermore most communist or socialist countries have an equal albeit very low standard of living that is far below the quality of some of the poorest Americans and other western countries.
Well, you're implying socialism is a good thing, which democracy can ultimately lead to. I abhor both and prefer the republican form of government we had at the founding.

At least the poor under a democracy have the right to complain. In a dictatorship or communist country, that would not be existant.
