I NEED YOUR HELP! It's my daughter's Sweet 16 and she wants a B&W MASK BALL?

I need help in planning the party. She wants it to be Semi-Formal Black%26amp;White Mask Ball, but as the birthday girl she'll wear a bright color dress (probably bright yellow) it's most likely going to be an outside affair at a lighted large community gazebo. We're going to have a DJ , rent a limo to deliver the family and the Birthday girl to the party. To reward those that RSVP茅d, we're going to hold a drawing up to 8ppl will be picked up and arrive in the limo before picking up the family. We're also going to have a door prize of an IPOD nano video. AFTER PLANNING ALL THAT NOW I';M STUCK. How do I make this all work? I have no clue as to how to put all this together PLEASE HELP ME!I NEED YOUR HELP! It's my daughter's Sweet 16 and she wants a B%26amp;W MASK BALL?
Here's a plan:

STOP SPOILING YOUR DAUGHTER.

Instead of granting her every sweet sixteen wish, maybe you should alert her to the fact that your family is lucky to have what they have and there are people out there who feel lucky if they have one meal in a day and have a semi-warm place to sleep. Then, how about taking the money that you were going to pour into this affair, have a simple pizza party and give the rest to a charity?

I'm sure that your daughter is a lovely girl and you want to do something nice for her but honestly....I NEED YOUR HELP! It's my daughter's Sweet 16 and she wants a B%26amp;W MASK BALL?
I think its great that youre giving your daughter a nice birthday party that she will remember. It appears that many people resent this. Anyway here are some ideas. Are you providing the masks? Look online and see if there are some you can order. It might be cool to give the girls black or white feather boas to wear, you can get those pretty cheap through a party supply company. Order B%26amp;W invitations. You can get black and white paper goods and plasticware. You can get black and white balloons. As for food, dont try to go with the B%26amp;W theme here or youll be eating vanilla ice cream and raisins. But it would be cool to have a dark and white chocolate cake.

It seems like youve already done the rest!
OMG I'm gonna puke! Why do you people do this crap for your spoiled little brats? What lesson are you teaching your daughter? My 16th b-day consisted of going to the DMV to take my drivers liscense test. ( I failed BTW had to go back a week later) But I was happy with just that! What is she going to expect on her 18th b-day?? Her 21st?? Her 30th?? 45th??
my niece is 16 on the 13th of this month...my sis as let her invite 20 friends to her house ...girls and boys...she is having an angel and devil theme with a choc fountain etc......she as bought everyone a small thankyou gift..that is it and my niece cant wait....they say small is beautiful....and my sis will be upstairs out of the way unless needed....
wholly cow! would you adopt me please???
You need to set up a time line %26amp; have several realible people to help you. Do you have a sister, mom or someone that can help; because you can't be at 2 places at one time. I personally wouldn't provide transporation to the hall for the people who RSVP...that's what people are suppose to do RSVP- it can cause chaous.-because everyone lives in a different place %26amp; you don't want the limo to be late picking up the most important person ';the birthday girl'; because of someone not being ready or because of traffic.

...I would just give out the nano. The last time I check IPOD shuffles were $45. give a couple of those away too...you want to enjoy yourself too.
Sounds more like a wedding, geeeeeze. How spoiled is she.....

What more do you need then all of that?
It seems like you have the first step down which is what you want, next just start getting everything together like buy he ipod, rent the limo, rent the community gazebo...then you have to make sure you pick a date and time then send out invitations...Have fun!
Well you already know what you want... just start make reservations. You can either hire someone to do the drawing or if you want to save money, you can do it yourself. My sweet 16 was my parents saying Happy Birthday and that was it.
If you intend to have a party this big and lavish, you can hire a party planner that can help you. Good luck with all your planning!
I think you are doing pretty well. Start with picking the date and the location of the event after that all should fall together.
The best route would be to engage an event planner. This person can help bring all the little details together. As you know it is the small things that will make your event special. Have you considered this thought? Most planner are really reasonable and can help with almost any tasks.
